Sydney Pool & Spa Expo wraps up for 2024

March 5th, 2024

Another warm weekend and another Pool & Spa Lifestyle Expo success, with the Sydney show attracting a fantastic crowd over two days.

Exhibitors were thrilled with the calibre of visitors, with plenty saying the show has opened up new avenues of exposure.

Whether first-time exhibitors, or seasoned participants, the message was the same – visitors know what they’re after and are ready to buy…often signing on the spot.

Beau Rixon, The Outback Plunge Pool “It’s been a good show; we’ve done really well. We’ve had some great quality leads and quite a few sales. Normally, with our product, we’re closing on deals where potential customers have already found us and just want to come and see the product – touch and feel. So, exposing us to new markets is a big part of the reason for being here, and it’s been really good in that respect.”

Trent Darmanin, The Pool Tile Company “The show has been great. We had some really good, qualified leads with motivated buyers. The timeline is immediate. We’re very happy with the outcome.”

Andrew Swain, AEON Pools “We’ve had a good mix of people on the stand, some just starting their journey and looking to investigate but mostly pre-qualified and ready to buy. Compared with previous years, this show has been one of the better ones.”

Aaron Sampson, Hot Springs  “The show this year has been great, as per usual. We’ve had some great leads and, more importantly, some great sales, high-end sales. It’s been a better show than previous years. People are far more qualified in the buying process and are definitely coming here knowing what they are after.”

A  broad mix of exhibitors offered attendees the opportunity to envisage their whole outdoor living experience – a relationship that works both ways.

Jacqueline Ballard, Ballard’s Carpentry “The show’s been incredible. We’re glad that we booked a stand, especially in this sort of environment where we are altogether with other elements of the industry. The first thing people do when they decide they want a pool or spa is work out how they’re going to landscape around it, so it’s a great chance for us to come on board and learn where trends are going from the homeowners’ perspective.”

Heather Garth, Member Services Coordinator “What an amazing weekend! Consumers were leaving the show excited about their recent purchase or primed ready to take the next steps towards their dream backyard. Exhibitors were kept busy all weekend by the remarkable influx of consumers, coupled with top-tier leads. It was an electrifying atmosphere from start to finish at the show!”
