Anthony Grice
Chairman

Current CEO of Clark Rubber, Anthony has been within the Australian retail industry for over 25 years. Anthony leads a group of professionals who are responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow business and drive financial performance for the Clark Rubber Franchise. Additionally, Anthony also serves as the Chairman of the Pool Franchise Council, and brings a wealth of knowledge as Chairperson to the SPASA Board.

Andrew Pullen
Director

Andrew is Managing Director at Vortex Leisure, which is known in the industry as Spa World, for the last 13 years. Spa World is now recognised amongst the largest spa specialist retail group worldwide. Additional to Andrew's role with Vortex Leisure, Andrew is also the Vice President of Asia Pacific for Jacuzzi brands, the owner of Vortex Leisure. Andrew is passionate about all things Spa's across Australasia, and brings a wealth of industry input to the SPASA Board.

Anthony Cross
Director

Anthony brings over 16 years Pool and Spa Industry experience to the SPASA Board. Having recently sat as a Committee Member for the Australian Standards (facilitating changes to Standard AS1839) Anthony understands the 'ins and outs' of the industry and the standards of compliance.

Brandon Hill
Director

A committed and enthusiastic Swimart multistate Franchise Owner and business Director with extensive leadership skills, focused on enhancing SPASA’s vision and strategy, team development, commercial and trade partnerships. Adept in aligning change management and operational efficiencies to deliver optimum financial results.

Valentina Tripp
Director

Valentina is an Independent Director, passionate about leading the transformation across the APAC region to drive sustainable growth in the pool and wellness industry.  Val has a strong interest in water reform, ethical and sustainable global supply chains, health and wellness for SPASA Members, good Association governance, Ai and the transition to a renewable energy future.

Peter Zukowski
Director

As the Managing Director of PJ Pools and Spas, Peter understands the complexities involved in the pool and spa industry. Peter's family has a strong legacy in the industry, and is still involved in wide range of pool constructions (from renovations to fibreglass to concrete). Peter's experience and vast pool knowledge are a welcome addition to the SPASA Board, as he continues to advocate for members and businesses alike.

Clinton Alley
Director

Clinton Alley is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of leadership experience spanning the financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. He brings a decade of industry-specific expertise as Managing Director of Fluidra ANZ, Sunbather, and Fluidra Commercial. Clinton is a globally experienced leader, having held key roles across European, South African, and Australian markets, with a strong track record of driving growth and operational excellence in complex, multinational environments.

Nic Brill
Director

Nic is CEO of Poolwerx ANZ, a leading business in the pool and spa industry with a footprint of over 150 retail stores and 500 mobile service units across the region. With a deep understanding of the sector, Nic is focused on driving innovation to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and business performance. His leadership is centred on delivering sustainable growth and ensuring operators are equipped to meet the evolving needs of pool and spa owners across Australia and New Zealand.

Christopher Jackson
Director

Christopher is the Managing Director of Aquarius Pools and a respected figure in the swimming pool industry, with over 40 years of experience. He has built a reputable and successful business that today employs a dedicated team of 13. Clinton’s enduring passion for the industry continues to drive his commitment to quality, innovation, and leadership within the sector.

Wendy Donaldson
Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer at The Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA), Wendy is responsible for leading the Training, Engagement, Advocacy and Marketing departments, driving initiatives to support industry growth and member success across Australia and New Zealand. Previously, as General Manager of the Institute of Research and Learning (IRLearning) at SPASA, Wendy was pivotable in expanding SPASA’s training offerings through the Institute of Research & Learning, making education more accessible across the sector.

With a strong focus on membership value and industry advancement, Wendy oversees strategic initiatives that support SPASA’s members, industry growth, professional standards, and workforce development.
