A Student membership is available to individuals currently enrolled in accredited training with SPASA’s training division, the Institute of Research and Learning (IRLearning). This membership category is exclusively for new entrants to the industry who are undertaking accredited training with the Institute of Research and Learning (IRLearning). This membership is valid only for the duration of the accredited training with IRLearning and does not include voting rights. Student Membership is not available to individuals who would typically qualify for one of the other membership categories. * No application fee is required for this category.
Aquatic/Commercial Facilities

Aquatic/Commercial Facilities membership is available to organisations specialising in the management of water-related facilities, recreational swimming environments, and water-themed attractions.

Eligibility criteria:
· Current SPASA membership
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience and with the completion of at least 50 swimming pools and/or spas.
· Submission of a comprehensive career overview, including current qualifications, professional development milestones, and prior achievements.
· MPB applications are reviewed by the MPB Committee prior to acceptance into the program.

Memberships are paid on an annual basis from 1 January.
Additional businesses/stores receive a 50% discount on corresponding membership categories.
A non-refundable application fee of $110.00 applies to all applications.
Credit card transactions may incur a 1.99% surcharge.
Voting rights associated with Corporate Membership should be discussed with your Regional Manager.
Proof of registration or licence (where applicable) is required for memberships to ensure regulatory compliance.
