Building Commission NSW has been working on transforming the Swimming Pool Register to provide a more user-friendly experience for pool owners, councils, and certifiers.
The updated register is designed to:
provide an updated user-friendly design
improve the pool registration and compliance process for the public, councils, and certifiers
support better data accuracy, fewer duplicates, and easier updates
enabled easier role-based access for private certifiers and council certifiers.
The web address will remain https://www.swimmingpoolregister.nsw.gov.au/.
The updated Swimming Pool Register will go live on 16 March 2026. There will be scheduled maintenance as part of the transition to the new register.
It is important for Members to note that the register will be temporarily unavailable for all users from Friday 13 March to 16 March 2026. Please plan accordingly to avoid unexpected disruption.
