Help Shape the Future of Pool & Spa Industry Training

July 17th, 2025

As the national peak body for the swimming pool and spa industry, the Swimming Pool & Spa Association (SPASA) recognises the vital importance of high-quality training and workforce development in building a skilled, safe, and future-ready industry.

In response to industry feedback that the CPP31218 Certificate III and CPP41319 Certificate IV qualifications no longer align with current practice and emerging skills needs, BuildSkills Australia has launched the Swimming Pool and Spa Review Project.

SPASA is proud to support this important initiative.

We encourage our members to get involved by applying to join the project’s Technical Committee. This committee will play a central role in reviewing and shaping nationally recognised qualifications that better reflect the realities of today’s pool and spa service work.

This is a unique opportunity to:

  • Influence the future direction of industry training

  • Ensure qualifications reflect contemporary industry standards

  • Contribute to a stronger, more capable workforce

Applications close 30 July 2025

Let’s ensure our industry continues to lead with confidence, capability, and a workforce equipped for the future.
