An Australian Standard designed to comprehensively address both residential and public swimming pools is now open for public comment.
The proposed ‘Draft AS 3633 Residential and public pools - Water quality’ aims to reduce reliance on overseas guidance by providing a comprehensive solution designed by Australian experts, for Australian conditions.
This is more than an update to an existing document. It’s a framework for world-leading quality and consistency in the way our residential and aquatic facilities are designed, assessed and delivered.
Public comment is open until 21 October 2026.
