About the role

This full-time permanent role is for a hands-on technically minded person that will be responsible for providing technical advice, diagnosis of warranty and operational issues across our product range. You will be offering step by step directions to a wide range of stakeholders (e.g. pool shops, pool owners, pool builders etc.). This role will have you attending on sites for warranty work as well as being in the office taking phone call from our stakeholders.  Full product training will be provided.
Key responsibilities and duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all stakeholders

  • Attend site or coordinate with other Service Technicians for all on-site service jobs to be completed and ensure any follow up actions has be completed

  • Troubleshoot issues over the phone or email with stakeholders

  • Organise parts to be sent to Service Technicians/stakeholders

  • Complete internal testing of products where required

  • Provide technical assistance, team lead, project management direction and/or support to production and engineering as required.

  • Responsible to advise and implement corrective actions and procedures when necessary to reduce the instances of product failures and returns.

  • Work closely with QA Manager in all aspects of the administration procedures for the warranty and service departments ensuring accurate and timely processes are in place.

Skills & Experience

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Valid Australian C class driver’s license

  • Trade qualification and/or experience in home maintenance and repairs

  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

  • Experience using various test equipment such as multi meters, oscilloscopes, logic probes, power supplies, etc.

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills
