Currently an opportunity exists in the Brisbane region for someone to join our maintenance and service department.

Job Description

Your role will be to routinely service two water displays in Brisbane region on a casual basis. The tasks include but are not limited to, water chemical analysis and controls, feature draining, vacuuming, general cleaning, rubbish removal, the operation of the water treatment units of each water display with some hydraulic maintenance and completion of electronic service reports.

General operations and chemical system training provided.

You will be the face of the company in Brisbane therefore you must be a good communicator, be well presented and able to work independently and trouble shoot via head office contact.

Requirements:

  • Current Driver’s License
  • Own Vehicle
  • White Card

Experience in the following would be handy but not essential: Pumps, electrical, plumbing and customer service.

Pool/Spa Installation - Team Member - All Rounder Position

BobCat / Truck Operator & Pool Instal Laborer Role 

Description:

Full Time - Subcontractor Position
40hrs per week
Car/Fuel allowance  
You will report to our project manager
Essential Licenses Required:- heavy-duty truck license, white card, & excavator/bobcat/forklift licenses

Duties:

1.Truck / bobcat & Excavator operator

You will be Endless Pools dedicated truck driver from Endless Depot on all excavation jobs. Must be at the pool instal site by 7am - punctuality is essential. Excavation jobs may require up to a 12hrs per day

2. Laborer to all our Pool/Spa installers (Three different teams)

Under the direction of our project mgr you will perform whatever daily tasks are required for our pool and spa instals including but not limited to:-

  • Tasks set by our installer on site
  • Site Inspections
  • Positive communications with clients
  • Mark out of pool , excavation / soil removal/ bringing in all materials from the street by wheelbarrow and dingo,
  • Cleanups
  • Responsible for set up of temp pool fencing each day and night, ensuring sites are safe
  • Provide progress photos from each job - upload and send to mgt
  • Provide key work progress updates with mgt
  • Ordering and delivering of materials and equipment  
  • Installing the base, inspection of shell on delivery truck for defects and then crane in pool, Leveling,
  • Backfill, drilling , trench/s, & plumbing of pool shell and trenches.
  • Plumbing of all equipment including equipment base, all pumps , filter systems , sanitizer/s systems, water levellers , solar system, heater/s and waterfall system
  • Ringbeam / pier works,
  • Final detailed clean ups of property/street, removal of rubbish from site, add salt , first chemical balance and vac of pool.

3. Site Down Days:

On approval Report to Endless Dispatch office & dispatch manager

Duties will include:

  • Truck /Excavator/Bobcat & Dingo cleaning and Maintenance 
  • Cleaning of spas/pools/baths/cars/ warehouse/offices/shelves/yard/building etc...
  • Warehouse duties/Stacking shelves/picking /packing/forklift etc...
  • Plumbing & assembling spa pool shells
  • Endless Deliveries/courier 
  • Gardenings at multiple locations

Service Technician – Internal - QLD

We are seeking an experienced and diligent Service Technician to join our dynamic Service team in Willawong.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide warranty and non-warranty repairs on all pool care products in the QLD service workshop
  • Manage the service workshop ensuring that stock and work flow is classified and rotated accordingly
  • Ensure that service area is well maintained in organisation, cleanliness and meeting OHS standards
  • Professionally represent Fluidra to the QLD pool industry, and maintain the industry’s perception of Fluidra as a provider of excellence in both products and service
  • Produce accurate reports when required
  • Complete daily jobs on time
  • Contact client when job has been completed to achieved acceptance of quotes and outcome
  • Organise daily jobs into appropriate rotation
  • Keep correct stock of spare parts and re-order when required
  • Return Faulty Parts in correct packaging and paperwork when required
  • Follow company policy for bad debts and safeguard company property including stock, tools
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding Zodiac pricing procedures and marketing strategies
  • Perform regular accurate stock takes.
  • Complete DO’s and assist in picking stock as required for State-based based technicians
  • Become thoroughly familiar with the specifications, the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products
  • To provide warranty and chargeable service repairs to all Fluidra pool care product range in workshop
  • Increase sales revenue in the form of new products, service charges and the sale of spare parts to all relevant trade clients.
  • Strictly adhere to company guidelines regarding pricing and service charges.
  • To build an expert knowledge of the theory and practice of sanitizing pools and spas with Clearwater and other Zodiac product range
  • Assist with telephone inquiries when required

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have Service Technician experience and a strong technical background with the ability to work independently and troubleshoot. You will be results driven and team orientated with strong problem-solving skills within a complex environment. You. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to service customers to a high standard.

Experience in basic hydraulics and water treatment will be advantageous and a qualification or experience with Electrical is highly desirable.

What you will be doing:

You will provide Technical and Sales assistance to Consumers of all Fluidra pool care products. The calls are varied and are generally for consumers placing service requests for warranty or non-warranty workshop and onsite repairs (received by phone, fax or email)

  • Managing a high volume of incoming calls and customer service enquiries
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
  • Scheduling of service technicians for issues that cannot be rectified via phone
  • Meet personal/team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Reasonable additional duties and responsibilities as required

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be results driven and team orientated with strong problem-solving skills within a complex environment. You will have a strong technical background with the ability to troubleshoot. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build partnerships and strategic working relationships.
