The process of getting a Builders' licence in Tasmania is managed and regulated by Consumer, Building and Occupational Services.

Licensing

Individuals are required to be licensed when they carry out work in construction, demolition, alteration, addition, relocation or repair of any building.  There is no minimum dollar threshold for which a license is required.
