Pool Service Licensing Information

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

The process of getting a pool and spa service licence in South Australia is managed and regulated by Consumer and Business Services.

Licensing

Individuals and businesses must be licensed as building contractors, including subcontractors if they run a business that carries out or organises building work:

for others to sell or let land or buildings.

Sole traders normally apply for a contractor's licence and building work supervisor registration at the same time as both are required to contract work.

  • Swimming pool construction ltd to: the installation of pumps, filtration equipment, chlorinators, heaters and associated pipe work

Experience

  • Pathway 1 Building work supervisor interview
  • Pathway 2 Held an equivalent registration within 12 months prior to the application

Qualifications

If you have successfully completed the following qualification, you may satisfy some of the technical knowledge required below:

National Police Check

Applicants must provide a copy of National Police Certificate.
